Arkansas has lured Weston Waldo, an innovation professional with expertise at I-Corps, to run its venture development programming.

Waldo will be tasked with promoting the success of Arkansas businesses, while also contributing to the management of university programmes including its branch of government-funded science accelerator Innovation Corps (I-Corps.)
He joins University of Arkansas having built up his credibility since at least 2012 performing a series of roles in tech transfer, innovation and entrepreneurship, most recently spending four years with Texas Tech University’s I-Corps as programme director.
He remains on the commercialisation review team for National Science Foundation – the grant body responsible for I-Corps – and is still an adjunct instructor for the accelerator’s national governing body.
