University of Buffalo (UB) has launched a business incubator at the Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences to accelerate spinouts and startups.
Located on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, the incubator is a component of the $32m Innovation Hub initiative. It offers co-working space, conference rooms, event space, private office suites, wet and dry lab space and amenities such as a kitchen.
Christina Orsi, associate vice-president for economic development at University of Buffalo, said: “We are seeking diverse teams who are pioneering innovation in their business ventures – those who value inclusion and equity and bring unique ideas and experiences that help them to be more innovative and successful.
“We encourage entrepreneurs who are eager to connect and collaborate with other startup founders, UB students and business mentors to contact us about opportunities.”
