Patrick Cazeneuve will succeed inaugural president Pierre Dufresne at the regional tech transfer organisation, bringing with him 25 years of expertise.

Patrick Cazeneuve has been appointed president of Toulouse Tech Transfer, one of the regional tech transfer offices that forms part of Réseau Satt, succeeding Pierre Dufresne, ToulÉco reported yesterday.
The transition will become effective in August 2021. Dufresne’s term ended on June 30, but he will continue to serve in an interim capacity until Cazeneuve joins.
Dufresne has been president of Toulouse Tech Transfer since its creation in 2012. As of December 2020, the office had created 19 companies, signed 135 licences and filed 280 patents.
Toulouse Tech Transfer’s shareholders are the regional association of universities, Federal University of Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées, as well as CNRS, Bpifrance, Toulouse Métropole and Région Occitanie.
Cazeneuve has some 25 years of experience supporting small businesses and has worked in the region since 2005. He has worked at Cabinet Daubriac-Letron-Cazeneuve, a firm specialising in risk analysis and insurance for SMEs, since 2017.
