UAEpreneurs will operate with support from University of Manchester’s Middle East Centre in Dubai, providing 10 mainly digital-focused startups the opportunity to raise $50,000 to $250,000 in capital.

University of Manchester’s Middle East Centre in Dubai has partnered regional entrepreneurship agency Innovest Middle East to start a United Arab Emirates-based accelerator called UAEpreneurs, Trade Arabia reported on Monday.
The scheme’s backers include healthcare group Johnson & Johnson’s Middle East subsidiary, along with entrepreneurship forum Startup Grind and youth-orientated nonprofit economic development platform MenaCatalyst.
