David Snow has moved on from Texas Tech University to direct University of Arkansas's tech transfer operation.

David Snow (pictured) was appointed director of University of Arkansas Technology Ventures, the university’s tech transfer office, on October 28.
Snow will report to Stacey Leeds, vice-chancellor for economic development at Technology Ventures, as the TTO looks to become a focal point for innovation in northwest Arkansas by joining up a range of university and community stakeholders.
Snow succeeds Bob Beitle, who had been director on a caretaker basis alongside his permanent duties as associate vice-chancellor for research and innovation, and faculty appointments in the colleges of engineering and chemical engineering.
Snow was previously senior managing director at Texas Tech University (TTU)’s Office of Research Commercialization since June 2015, taking responsibility for tech transfer, intellectual property and licensing across the entire TTU system.
His tenure coincided with a four-fold annual increase in the number of executed licence and option agreements, invention disclosures and licensing revenue.
