Annual turnover and invention disclosures at Satt Sud-Est fell as the TTO shifted its strategy in favour of deep tech applications and co-maturation agreements.

The number of invention disclosures processed by France-based regional tech transfer office Satt Sud-Est fell by roughly 10% in 2018 to 98 from 109 the previous year.
The TTO yielded an annual turnover of about $1.3m, down from $4m year-on-year. Its spinouts collectively generated $11.8m over the course of 2018.
Satt Sud-Est concluded 13 licence agreements in 2018 compared with 19 in 2017 – the lowest number reported since 2013.
