The environmental microbiome testing kit maker, based on Oregon research, has collected series A capital from investors including Western Digital Capital and 3M Ventures.

Phylagen, a US-based supply chain data analytics developer backed on research at University of Oregon, has raised $14m in a series A round co-led by VC firms Cultivian Sandbox, Breakout Ventures and Working Capital.
Data storage technology producer Western Digital and manufacturing conglomerate 3M contributed to the round through respective corporate venturing vehicles Western Digital Capital and 3M Ventures.
