E14 Fund has contributed to a series A for Overjet, having previously backed the company’s seed round.

Overjet, a US-based developer of artificial intelligence technology for dentistry, has raised $27m in a series A round backed by the E14 Fund, a vehicle focused on companies linked to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab.
General Catalyst and Insight Partners co-led the round, while Crosslink Capital also invested.
Overjet has developed artificial intelligence technology to process dental radiographs, allowing both dentists to deliver better care and insurers to handle claims more efficiently. Overjet is a portfolio company of both MIT Media Lab and Harvard Innovation Labs.
The cash has been allocated to accelerate adoption and facilitate product launches.
Overjet raised nearly $7.9m in a seed round in June 2020 also backed by the E14 Fund. Crosslink Capital led that round, while unnamed industry partners also took part.
