The low Earth orbit mapping technology provider has raised more than $100m altogether, having picked up series A financing from Weru Investment in 2018.

LeoLabs, a US-based space mapping and data provider backed by Waseda University’s venture capital affiliate Weru Investment, has completed a $65m series B round co-led by Insight Partners and VelvetSea Ventures.
Spun out of research institute SRI International in 2016, LeoLabs operates ground-based space radars to provide mapping and space situational awareness data for low Earth orbit.
Applications include satellite constellation monitoring, collision prevention, small debris tracking and launch support.
