Osage University Partners was among the investors in the cybersecurity training services provider’s series A round.

Hack the Box, a UK-based cybersecurity training services provider, collected $10.6m in series A financing yesterday from investors including spinout-focused venture capital fund Osage University Partners.
Paladin Capital Group led the round, which also featured Brighteye Ventures and Marathon Venture Capital.
Hack the Box offers accessible cybersecurity training programmes by teaching ethical hacking through gamified challenges for users to attack virtual vulnerable labs. The money will drive the company’s growth in the US and internationally, and support a product expansion.
Marathon Venture Capital was identified as an existing shareholder, but further details could not be confirmed.
