University of Stuttgart has scored an exit with the acquisition of nFrames, a 3D mapping technology spinout also backed by Vector Informatik.

NFrames, a Germany-based 3D mapping software developer founded on University of Stuttgart research, has been acquired by location data provider Esri for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2013, nFrames has created a suite of software tools under the brand Sure used to render 3D images from aerial and ground-level pictures of cities and rural areas.
