OneTrust has acquired DocuVision, providing exits to investors including Berkeley SkyDeck Fund and Oxford Seed Fund.

DocuVision, a US-based artificial intelligence-powered personal data management platform, has been acquired by data compliance platform OneTrust, providing an exit to University of California, Berkeley’s SkyDeck Fund.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2019, DocuVision operates a platform called Redacted.ai that automatically detects sensitive information in documents, allowing businesses to redact and protect confidential data.
The technology has been integrated into OneTrust’s own offering to create a fully automated data subject rights service for documents and email that covers the whole spectrum of data intake, identity verification, redaction and response.
DocuVision raised an undisclosed amount of capital from Oxford Seed Fund, the student-led venture fund of University of Oxford, in September 2020.
Its shareholders also include Oxford Angel Fund and private investors Colin Harris and Biz Stone, though it is unclear when they or Berkeley SkyDeck Fund invested.
