Karolinska Development has promoted general counsel Johan Dighed to deputy chief executive.

Karolinska Development, the commercialisation firm set up by Karolinska Institute, named Johan Dighed as deputy chief executive last week and he took up the position immediately.
Dighed will also continue in his current role as the firm’s general counsel, a position he took on in May 2020. He joined Karolinska Development from financial services provider Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB).
He had held a range of position with the legal department of SEB’s large corporates and financial institutions division, where his focus included venture capital. Earlier in his career, he worked for the law firm Baker & McKenzie and in the Swedish judiciary.
