Multi-university venturing fund Uniseed has backed Australia-based smart helmet developer Forcite in an AUD$1.2m ($900,000) round also involving Atlas Advisors Australia. Forcite has started mass production of a motorcycle helmet equipped with a camera and computer vision software to alert the rider to hazards in their surroundings.
