Boston Meats, a US-based meatless foods producer spun out of Harvard University, has obtained $1.5m in equity funding, according to a regulatory filing published on Thursday. Spun out earlier in 2020 from Harvard’s Wyss Institute, Boston Meats produces protein-rich foods that emulate the taste and feel of meat. The company’s investors include venture capital firm Rhapsody Venture Partners.
