IIM Ahmedabad's incubator supplied seed funding to help environmental monitoring startup Oizom Instruments pursue marketing, product enhancements and R&D.

India-based environmental monitoring software developer Oizom Instruments has obtained an undisclosed amount of seed capital from the Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, according to VCCircle.
Founded in 2015, Oizom develops environmental monitoring products that apply data analytics to information from internet-of-things sensors to build an accurate picture of concerns such as air quality, radiation and noise.
Oizom’s technology features an analytics module called Oizom Terminal that compiles personalised reports and charts for its clients. It will invest the seed funding in marketing, product enhancements and R&D.
The company’s products are currently available in 10 major cities, for purposes including urban management, odour detection, highway monitoring and climate change monitoring.
CIIE was formed in 2009 and has since made approximately 100 investments and supported 5,000 startups, according to VCCircle.
