University of Cambridge's commercialisation arm has found a new entrepreneur-in-residence in Paul Bailey with experience in human capital planning and links with local academic-industry initiatives.
Paul Bailey (pictured), executive chairman of high-level talent recruitment firm Bailey Fisher Executive Search, has been selected as an entrepreneur-in-residence for University of Cambridge’s commercialisation unit, Cambridge Enterprise.
Bailey’s post involves offering support and guidance to embryonic startups affiliated with Cambridge Enterprise. He will pay particular attention to fostering team development within businesses and encouraging entrepreneurs to forecast human capital requirements for their operations.
His remit is intended to complement support offered by Cambridge Enterprise’s other entrepreneurs-in-residence, Richard Green and Peter McPartland.
Bailey helped start Cambridge-based Bailey Fisher Executive Search in 1998, helming operations there as managing director for 20 years before transitioning to become executive chairman following a management buyout of the firm in August 2018.
